Suffering builds Character

Life without struggle is no life at all,

if everything you have defines who you are, there is not much to who you are.

character is the role you play even when the curtains close

standing alone.

Who you are on the outside is divided by who you are within.

no world is lonelier, than one that not even you are your friend.

What ever pain you have reminds you that you are alive,

raw emotion that will eventually subside and you will survive.

what is left is wiser you,

stronger then what you were before because of the ability to endure

getting up one time more, than you have been knocked down before.

some times winning can be your biggest failure

because you can win a battle and lose the war

it just depends which you want more.

Born in East Flatbush, Brooklyn then migrated where God and the wind blew my family. I've learned to cling to words since high school books looked like non sence. Ever since then I have been building common sense. I Graduated From DePauw university with a major in Conflict Studies. Creating dynamic workshops that challenge students to develops their leadership skills, public speaking, anti-bullying, and literacy through the use of spoke word poetry.
